Overview
Treat yourself and yours to an exclusive sail on the majestic Grand Traverse Bay to an Island Adventure that's all yours. You'll enjoy a sail on the custom built schooner, Wind Dancer, to Power Island for beach fun and exploration. Swimming, beach chairs, games, hiking, and an island picnic are all part of the fun. You'll have 90 minutes to experience the island choosing what feels right for you. Kick back and relax on the beach, take a refreshing swim, get those killer selfies, play a game of bag toss or beach paddle ball, hike to the hightest point on the island, or kayak a bit in the stunning blue and green waters of the west arm of Grand Traverse Bay. Meet the captain and crew back at the island dock for your sail back. Enjoy complimentary refreshments, including signature Mammoth Distillery cocktails, local beer, wine, and champaign, as we make our way back to Traverse City.

FAQs
Can I bring food and drink on the boat?
Yes! Please bring your own cups, plates, silverware and paper products (no glassware is allowed on the boat).

When do I check in?
Check-in time begins 30 minutes prior to the scheduled charter time.
Where can I park?
Parking is available near the check-in kiosk, which is located at The Delamar Resort, 615 E. Front Street, Traverse City, MI.
What should I bring?
Please bring rain gear, beach towel, water toys, sunscreen, and appropriate non-skid footwear for boating. Ice for any beverages, including alcohol, and food that you would like to bring aboard.
Will we be able to swim from the boat?
There will be an opportunity to swim when you land on Power Island. The water is beautiful!
What happens if it rains?
If the captain makes an inclement weather call, you will get a full refund or an opportunity to re-book. If not, a 24-hour cancellation notice is required.
Is the boat handicapped accessible?
The dock is designed in such a way that passengers must be able to board themselves by stepping down on to the boat.
How do I tip the captain at the end of the trip?
Typically, cash tips are given to the captain at the end of the tour. The suggested tip rate is anywhere from 15-20%.
